Omg! Can't believe it's the 31st of March already! We're already a quarter into the year 2008! Time really does fly and we all have to learn how to make the most of it! I now understand what people mean when they say "Every second counts!" Anyway! I digress..I'm not gonna do another wordy post this time coz I've been doing alot of that lately..So FINALLY!! My blog has pictures! (Just for you Summer!!) :)

So for those of you who read my blog regularly, you'd know that I did the Loreal Hair Colour Trophy shoot..Anddddd..They cut/dyed my hair!! It was really scary for me to go short coz I've had long hair for a long time and you know..It's always scary to try something so drastically new! And also..It was a 10 hour shoot! Omg, I almost died you know..I was SO tired! But anyways! Less words Kim! Less words! Sorry..It's the IB student in me..And just so you know (Some random, totally irrelevant information), my essays are ALWAYS below the minimum word count! So annoying!

It's not a very good picture coz El (The shoot co-ordinator) hasn't sent me the pictures in soft copy yet so I actually took a picture OF the pictures! Lol..

But then right..I thought that my hair was a lil long..Like you know..Not long..Not short..Somewhere in the middle..So I was like..Okay..I think I'm gonna go a LEEL shorter..So I went to the salon yesterday andddd..









Voila!! MUCH shorter! Most people prefer the first one but I'm still kinda undecided coz there were a few people who like this one better..I like the first one coz it kinda suited my face a lil better coz I feel like the second one makes my face and my body look bigger than it really is..But then..The second one is so chic and so hot and OMG!! Sooooo..I leave it up to you guys!! Which do YOU prefer?

I've recently realised that I've become super demanding..I've actually always been demanding because that's just the way I've been raised..My parents have taught me never to settle for second best but lately, my demands have reached an all new high..And I'm not talking about material items (Although buying new stuff just doesn't give me the same satisfaction it used to) but more towards personal demands..Like I've realised I've become SUPER critical about myself..The way I look and my studies especially but also my cheering and the people I'm around..I haven't decided if this is a good thing or not though but I think it is..

2. If you were to be stranded on a deserted island, who are the 3 blog buddies you'd take and why?
Ling and Manda coz they're my bestfriends and I love them and we always have fun together no matter where we are..
Cheng Choo coz I need another fellow cheerleader who understands my need to cheer to be with me! Omg, can you imagine me trying to discuss cheer with Ling and Manda? LOL!
Oh and btw, this question is asking me three BLOG BUDDIES I'd take with me, not like three friends who don't blog..If I had the choice of all my friends, I'd take ALL my cheerleaders and ALL my friends! Not just 3..

3. Where is the place that you want to go the most?
I NEED to do a spa retreat on a beach somewhere with GOOD shopping..Maybe for about 2 weeks..My nerves are super frazzled at the moment and I really need a holiday!!

4. If you can have 1 dream to come true, what would it be?
To make my parents proud of me..That's the only thing I want..

Haha! Of course not! Who could?

My family..

Omg, this would take me FOREVER to list out! So I won't bother..Lets just say my perfect man is going to be really difficult to find..

Something Strange And New Is Happening

Hey ya'll! Sorry I haven't been blogging much..I've been really tired and really busy (With IB, what else) lately..I thought it was weird that I've been so tired coz I haven't been cheering (Coz of my ankle) but after I thought about it, I realized that it's BECAUSE I haven't been cheering that I've been feeling so tired..Cheering is a way for me to unwind and when you're a cheerholic like me, not cheering (Even if it's just a week!) really affects my body! I feel so lethargic and all..

And besides, hopping around in those crutches for like 5 days were SUPER tiring okay! Omg, I HATE those things! I was so happy when my ankle didn't hurt so much and I could get off them (The crutches)! For those of you who don't know, I hurt my ankle during cheer practice the day before our performance so I didn't get to perform during C3.. :( I was so saaaad and I felt so useless..Can't wait to go back for practice lah! :D

Anyways! I actually came to blog for a reason..I'm not sure how many of you read the Malay Mail but on Thursday (March 27th) there was this article about this girl who got drugged and then got nude pictures taken of her..So if you read this article, you can stop reading now coz I'm just gonna elaborate about the article a bit more.. :)

So the full story is this photographer offered this 17 year old girl to do her portfolio for free..So she was all excited and all and said yes! So they had a shoot on March 11 and 12 and everything went perfect..And then on March 13 (Yes, the very next day!) the photographer called her and told her she had been selected to do a shoot for Genting! So they went up to Genting and they were shooting and then they took her to a room to change clothes and then a staff member (From Genting I assume) brought her a bottle of liquor and told her to drink it and she drank it..Next thing she knew, she was in a cab on her way back to KL not wearing the same clothes she had been wearing before..

I just wanna warn all the girls out there reading this post to NOT fall for something like this..First of all, photographer's are NOT the one's who book models for shoots, it's casting houses who do that or the person who's in charge of the shoot..Secondly, unless you're a very experienced model (Like Amber Chia) a big company like Genting is NOT just going to choose you to do their shoot no matter how gorgeous you are..They'll definitely want a casting so that they can choose the best and for most jobs (print and TVC) you have to cast anyway..I've never done a job where I don't cast..Even when the clients are sure they want to use me, I still cast just to make sure I can actually do what they want me to do..Also, real shoots take ages to plan and there are normally quite a few people involved..So if someone calls you and says "You have been selected to do a shoot tomorrow!" chances are it's bullshit..No way someone is going to give a model ONE day's notice to do a shoot which is what happened in this case..And if you're doing a professional shoot, there is no way they're gonna offer you booze..I mean think about it logically, booze on a shoot and a model who's drunk..Right!

The sad thing is that there are so many girl's who want to model but don't know how to go about doing it right..Do your research girls! Sign up with a good casting house! (Dutch Studios, Cheeze, Famous Artistes, Mug Shots etc etc) If you think a job is dodgy, DON'T DO IT!! Follow your gut instinct!! And remember, any idiot who has a camera can claim to be a photographer! Always ask to see your photographer's portfolio if you feel like he's dodgy..And if you're doing a shoot, always ALWAYS inform someone of where you are and what you're doing and who are the people involved..Whenever I do shoots, my parents are always aware of ALL the details..Location, time, client, photographer etc etc..And I always try and get someone I know to come with me when I shoot..It's basic safety..Keep someone informed of your whereabouts at all times..And girls, we all have to be smart..If someone you don't know offers you a drink, say no.. :) And also, be very aware of signing contracts..Read through it PROPERLY before you sign it!!

However, if you find yourself in a situation like this..Call someone to come and pick you up immediately and just say you've decided not to go the shoot..Unless you've signed a contract, you have every right to not do the shoot if it's making you feel uncomfortable..

And you know, the best thing for you to do whenever you get a casting is to ask your parents about it if you feel it's not legitimate..Trust me when I say that they really do know best.. :) And hey! If you ever really need advice or an opinion and you don't want to ask your parents, just come ask kay! I'm not a professional model or anything but I've done a few shoots so I kinda know how it works.. :) Just be careful okay? Modelling may seem all glamorous and all (But trust me! It's hard work!) but it can also be very dangerous and there are lots of con men around..So make sure you're careful!

Oh! And on a subject that's completely off topic, it's EARTH HOUR NOW!! : DD My lights have been off for the past hour (Not my laptop and my a/c though! Coz I can't just sit in the dark heat for an hour not doing anything right? :p) But hey! It's better than nothing right? Just think! I've saved one hour of lights!! : D So I've been blogging in the dark and it's almost time to switch my lights back on but I think I'll keep it off for awhile longer..GO GREEN YA'LL!! Every little thing counts!! :)

uncut untitled paper house last night was freaking awesome..I totally totally loved it and I even cried (Okay, I didn't REALLY cry! Just TEAR a lil bit.. :p) during paper house..Definitely worth going for! And the acting was superb! I didn't know that Aishah Sinclair (Who's acts in untitled and who is VERY hot!) could act so well! She pulled of her character so convincingly..Omg! So good! Go watch it!

There are a couple more plays this month that I wanna go for so I'll keep everyone updated on what's worth going for and what isn't.. :)

Okay..I've calmed down a LITTLE but I'm stil annoyed that this post won't have any pictures..I'm sorryyyy!! But it's not my fault! Stupid internet..

A schizophrenic cheerleader will be quite funny though "Okay, I'm going to do a toe touch..No I'm going to do a star jump..NO I'M DOING TO DO A HERKIE!!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Then you have to imagine this person like trying to do all three jumps at the same time..So funny!

Ohmygod, I seriously don't know what I'm saying and I don't know what's wrong with me..It's the STUPID INTERNET FAT COW!! I'm just gonna go shower now..

Before I begin a proper blog post, I have to rant about something first..Yesterday, on American Idol, David Hernandez got sent home..Ohmygod, I'm so upset okay! I love his voice! And I bet he got sent home coz he used to be a stripper and not coz he's not a good singer! I'd upload a video of him singing but I don't know how..Lol..So I'm just gonna link it..Go watch it! Admittedly, there were some parts he was a bit off but it was still an AH-MAZING performance..



Bye David! I'll miss you! I feel like it's such a waste coz I really thought he would've gone much further..



She should have been sent home instead! Out of all the Idol contestants, she's the only one whose voice I don't like..And ohmygod, she is so NOT a female Chris Daughtry so stop comparing her to him! I'm a huge huge HUGE fan of his and his voice is so sexy and so controlled..She just sounds like she's shouting..I REALLY don't like her voice and no offense, but I don't think she deserves to be there! And lol! She looks like a female Wolverine in this picture!

Oh and yesterday's group medley was super super good! I LOVED it! But it may be coz I'm such a huge Beatles fan coz there were quite a few comments that said it wasn't a good performance..Here's the link to THAT video! Anyways! Back to real life! I decided to spend the day with Bryan today coz the both of us are always so busy and today was one of the very few days when the both of us are TOTALLY free and we can spend uninterrupted quality time with each other! So we went to the gym, then went to watch Step Up 2: The Streets which was FREAKING AWESOME and OHMYGODROBERTHOFFMANISFREAKINGHOTANDIWANTTOMARRYHIM!!



Okay fine..This isn't a very good picture of him but it's the best I could find! But seriously! He's so hot and I'm so in love with him! And when he dances! Ohmygod! I'm so jealous of the girl who got to play Andie (Ya, I don't know her real name coz I was so into Robert Hoffman that I forgot to look..Lol!) Ohmygod, she got to kiss him! I'm so upset! I'm seriously so in love with him okay! Words can't describe how hot I think he is and how much I want to marry him! HE'S SO HOT LAH!

Okay, right! BACK TO REAL LIFE KIM! It was nice spending the day with my little brother..We don't get to spend enough time with each other..And since it's just me and him, we're all each other has got..And I'm proud to say that my baby brother is turning into QUITE the gentleman! He paid for movie tickets and he wanted to pay for popcorn and everything else but since I AM the older sister, I footed the bill for popcorn and food..And when I said I would pay for popcorn and food he looked at me with this look on his face like "Are you SUPPOSED to be paying?" Lol..And we went to buy Xbox games (I bought CSI!) and he paid for all that..It's nice to see my brother turning into such a good guy..The girl that wins his heart is going to be one lucky thing! And she better treat him (And me!) well! Coz I am NOT going to let a girl step over my brother!

Anyways! I should be off now coz I wanna play CSI on Xbox! Lol! And and you know what..I think I'm gonna ask my dad to buy me a SONY PSP (In pink of course! To match my laptop! : D) I saw the pink PSP today and it's so pretty and I really want it!

Oh and I won't be going for Sunburst coz I have cheer practice and the SCP competition is in like two weeks so I can't afford to miss practices.. : ( I'm seriously so sad coz I was looking SO forward to going to Sunburst..Yet another thing that I'm missing out on for cheer! But if you're gonna ask me if I think it's worth it..Yes I do..Without a doubt I think it's worth it, I wouldn't even have to second guess it..And you really won't understand why unless you're a cheerleader yourself..But that still doesn't change the fact that I'm kinda upset that I can't go! Lol..I'm such a walking contradiction la right? : p

This Is The Story Of Us All

Just came back from CHARM practice and I'm so tired..BUT! I'm still making the effort to blog! : D Haha! I make it sound like it's such a chore to blog and that I'm doing everyone such a huge favour by blogging..Whatever okay! Let me indulge myself and believe that I'm some famous blogger and that a bazillion people read my blog everyday and envy my glamorous life..HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Went back to school yesterday and today for Chem extra class but we really didn't do much..Yesterday, we just handed in a (Yes, singular! Lol!) draft report of our experiment and today we were supposed to do another one but we were all working so slooooowly that Mr. Michael kinda gave up and we (Mei, Drewy, Sham Paul and I) were dancing in class..Lol..So funny! Sham can seriously drop it like it haaaawt! Whoooh!! And omg lah! I feel like such an incompetent fool dancing next to them..They're all damn good dancers yo! So annoying! I don't like it when people are better than me at something! Lol..

Anyways! I'm performing with CHARM this Saturday at Cineleisure at 12,2 and 4 so come watch and support kay? : D And right..I love my bases in CHARM with all all all my heart (Wei Hong, Steph Wong, Chi Yen, Cecilia etc etc..Seriously! They ALWAYS catch me! And they don't scold me when I make a mistake!) but I WANT WUI YANG AND EE MING!! : ( I miss Red House lah! Oh..But Wui Yang and Ee Ming actually don't scold me when I make a mistake also..Okay, I don't know what I'm saying..I love all my bases lah!! : DD

Coz I like to see people happy..I don't like to see sad people coz it's so sad..

I Miss Your Smile

Hey ya'llzz!! Sorry I haven't been updating..It's been so crazy that just before I sat down to blog, I tried recalling all the things I've been doing since i last blogged, and I can BARELY remember what I've been doing! Really! My memory is like "Uhhh..Okay I THINK I did this but I'm not sure" Lol..But anyways! Before I do a proper post about Sports Day/KLCC performance etc etc..I need to get something off my chest so here goes..

Red House got second for cheer this year and Blue House got last (Yellow won and Green got third) and I've recently learnt that SOME (Not all!) of the Blue House cheerleaders are all "Fuck Red House! We hate Red House! They don't deserve second!" etc etc and you know what..That seriously pisses me off like crazy..Saying stuff like that is so immature and no one's saying that you guys DESERVED last and everyone has acknowledged that you guys pulled a GOOD routine (Not perfect though) Everyone knows that you guys got marks cut off for your skirts and uniforms and yeah that sucks! But hey! That's not our fault! And yeah, you guys worked hard..But SO DID EVERY OTHER HOUSE! All of us worked hard! So don't go around saying stuff like "Red House doesn't deserve it" because THAT is unfair!

And one thing I really don't understand is why the hell you're blaming this on Red House?!? We didn't have ANYTHING to do with the judging and we weren't the ones who decided on the placings! If you want to be pissed at someone, be pissed at the judges! Or better yet! Be pissed at your tailor! And in case you didn't know Red and Yellow (I'm not sure about Green) went to the tailor TWICE regarding our skirts..We thought it was too long and we wanted them shorter but before we made the skirts shorter, we asked Ms Foo what the required length was so that we wouldn't get marks cut off for our skirt and when she said 3 inches, we stuck to 3 inches even though our skirts were so ugly..So hey! Your skirts are YOUR responsibility! Getting marks cut off for your skirts has absolutely NOTHING to do with Red House and us "not deserving" second place..

It really amuses me that some people can be so immature and mean about things like this and I intended to do a REAAAAAALLY long post about it..But I've just realized that it would be really pointless and it would probably make me really angry so I'm not going to..I think I've said enough.. : )

To the Yellow House cheerleaders..Congratulations! You guys deserved first! I'm so so proud of all of you!

To the Green House cheerleaders..It's amazing how you guys pulled through after all the shite you guys had to go through..You have my RESPECT man!! Especially Pui Yi and Demie! I honestly think I would have had a breakdown if that had happened to me!

To the Blue House cheerleaders..I have absolutely nothing against any of you..And I believe that I speak on behalf of all the Red House cheerleaders..But to those, who have been talking smack about us..Think before you speak yeah? But congratulations anyways! Your stunts were obviously the most difficult compared to the rest of us..

To all the Red House cheerleaders..Without a doubt the best bunch of people I have worked with EVER! Honestly! It's amazing how we all grew so close so fast! (But okay! We owe that to a certain SOMEONE who's head-over-heels in love another SOMEONE! I wont mention names! But his name rhymes with Wui Liang! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!) I'm already missing practices like crazy!
